All time high: more than 100 visitors per day

Today marks a highlight in the history of this website: For the first time the average rate of distinct visitors has exceeded 100 per day. This is of course due to the coverage of the Klagenfurt tournament and to the many business cards spread there.

Klagenfurt coverage complete

Couldn't believe it ourselves, but improved workflow has allowed us to declare Klagenfurt picture coverage COMPLETE only one day after the tournament is finished. Of course, quality has suffered a little bit and therefore there will will be small adaptions and improvements, e.g. textual coverage, a little bit more pictures, better picture quality, comments for every pic - but most of the work is done and you don't have to wait for months till completion like in former years.

Next event covered: FIVB Grand Slam Klagenfurt 2008

Like in the years before, we will be reporting from the FIVB Grand Slam tournament in Klagenfurt, Austria. This particular event will be held for the 12th time, whereas beachers.at is taking part for the 8th time in a consecutive row. This website will be featuring daily updates from Klagenfurt, but also have a look-see at beachen.cc during the tournament - could be that some small but brand new pictures are available earlier there.

CEV Austrian Masters in St. Pölten (AUT), 09. - 12.05.2008

Next event covered will be the CEV Austrian Masters in St. Pölten from 9th till 12th of May. Be sure to visit our Beach Links page to get the whole info, as there are several websites up for this tournament: we have spotted two from the organiser (kuksport) and one from the CEV so far.

Only valid Beach Links from now on

As a service for you our Beach Links are checked regularly for validity from now on. Sites not reachable during checkup oder without content are being quarantined, which means that they are still being presented on our Beach Links page, but moved to special columns and commented. Checkup runs will happen about once or twice a month.

This ensures hassle-free surfing when clicking on our links.

Site relaunch

We faded to grey. :) But we are going all the way: beachers.at will be relaunched soon in an all-new style. Newly designed user interface will provide new functionalities. Despite being an Austrian site, from now all text on the site will be in english only, due to many letters from site visitors all over the world. Until the relaunch is taking effect, site is providing reduced content.
